About Us.

Kitesurfing captured me, Jörg, the owner of 7 Beaufort, in 2003. After countless kitesurfing trips around the world, I stumbled upon Ilha do Guajiru with a kitesurfing friend – and was instantly fascinated. Both overwhelmed by the land and the people, especially by this place, combined with the desire to live by the water, we spontaneously decided to buy a run-down beach shack. The following year (2009), we tore it down and built the current 7 Beaufort.

The goal was to create a place where we could spend time with other nice people and set out from a cozy "homebase" to fantastic kitesurfing sessions.

Because kitesurfing and fun are what we want.

Despite our somewhat "naive" approach and some initial difficulties, we are very pleased with the result. We owe the wonderful atmosphere especially to our consistently super-friendly guests, so I have never regretted the decision. Every day, I am happy and grateful to be able to kitesurf, talk, laugh, and celebrate here with you and my team.
