Ilha do Guajiru is the perfect kitespot for all skill levels: in the huge flatwater lagoon right at your doorstep, you can easily learn to kite, work on new tricks, boost into big airs, or take a short walk across the sandbank at the far end of the lagoon to dive into the waves of the open sea. Or join us on a downwinder to nearby kite destinations.
The best part: our hotel is located right at the kitespot of Ilha do Guajiru – you can basically kite straight out of bed! Our kite school, right on the lagoon, makes your vacation especially hassle-free.

Beautiful dark-wood-designed rooms on the first floor. A breathtaking view of the pool and lagoon, whether from the bed or your private hammock. Plus, a fresh coconut to enjoy. The kite spot is right at your doorstep, the atmosphere is relaxed, the crew is always friendly, the food is top-notch, and the service is very reliable. All in all, a perfect setup for a kite vacation. Sarah runs the place impeccably, and the crew whips up amazing dinners for special occasions, full of love and attention to detail. «Highly recommended!
You feel at home right away. The staff is super friendly, always smiling and helpful. The beach boys are absolutely amazing – always there to help pump up your kite, attach the lines... Your gear is ready faster than you’d think! The kitchen crew is also great, the food is delicious. The rooms are top-notch, very clean, and have everything you could wish for - soap, space to hang clothes, room for wet lycras, good airflow thanks to windows and shutters that can be tilted. The vibes are just perfect. From bed to board! The kite storage is huge, with space for everything. I’ll definitely be back!»

«I traveled alone – and what awaited me exceeded all expectations!
My pre-booked transfer was already at the airport, impeccably punctual, and the ride to the pousada felt super safe. Despite my late arrival, I was personally welcomed and shown straight to my room. The wonderfully kind team, always in good spirits, made sure I lacked for nothing—attentive and with a warm, family-like atmosphere. It was lovely to see Jörg and his dear family regularly present too. And last but not least, the fantastic on-site kite center! Launching right from the property into the vast lagoon was truly unique. The gear left an outstanding impression, and on non-kite days, I’d happily lounge by the pool or in one of the coconut-shaded chill spots, watching the lively, but never overcrowded, kite action. With consistently strong winds between 23 and 30 knots, along with a vast flatwater and rock-free area, everyone gets their money’s worth here.
