Kitesurfing grabbed me, Jörg, owner of 7 Beaufort, in 2003. After countless kite trips all over the world, I came across the Ilha do Guajirú together with a kite friend - and was immediately fascinated. Both of us were overwhelmed by the country and people and especially by this place. Combined with the desire to live by the water, we spontaneously decided to buy a run-down beach barrack. We demolished it in the following year (2009) and built the 7 Beaufort of today.
The aim was to create a place where we could spend time with other nice people and where we could start from a cosy "homebase" to sensational kite sessions.
Because kiting and fun is what we want.
Despite our somewhat "blue-eyed" approach and some initial difficulties we are very satisfied with the result. We especially need to thank our very nice guests for the great atmosphere, so that I have never regretted my decision and every day I am happy and grateful to be here with you and my team to kite, talk, laugh, celebrate...
